Jimmy Owens races into Illini 100 finale at Farmer City Raceway with World of Outlaws
The Koehler Motorsports crew and their driver Jimmy Owens made the trek to Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday afternoon to join the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series for the Illini 100 weekend.
With a stacked 45-car field on hand, Owens struggled in his heat race and came up one spot short of making the feature in his Last Chance Showdown.
Transferring to Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale through his heat race, Jimmy was an early retiree on lap 41 and finished 22nd.
Owens is currently 15th in the World of Outlaw point standings.
