Jordan Koehler kicks off 2024 season at Volusia for DIRTcar Nationals

Jordan Koehler opened up his 2024 season behind the wheel of his No. 114 Modified at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) to chase a gator during the DIRTcar Nationals.

With 104 drivers checked in for the week, Koehler earned a spot in the third feature of the night and finished inside the Top-10 in eighth.

Looking for another solid run on Tuesday, Jordan didn't qualify as well and wound up just outside the Top-10 in 11th after the 20-lap feature.

Picking up the speed on Wednesday, Koehler stopped the clock fourth-quickest in time trials which placed him on the second-row of the A-Main. Jordan moved quickly in the 20-lap feature to finish inside the Top-5 in fourth.

On Thursday afternoon, Jordan was placed in the third feature based on points. Rolling off from the fifth-row, Koehler slipped back to 14th at the checkers.

With qualifying back in play on Friday evening, Koehler earned a front-row starting spot but faded back to sixth in 20 laps.

With a $5,000 payday on the line Saturday, Koehler raced his way into the finale with a runner-up finish in the Last Chance Showdown. In the 30-lap main event, Koehler made quick work of the field and gained 10 positions on his way to a 16th-place finish.

Full results from the week long event can be found at www.DIRTcar.com.
