To close out his busy 2023 racing season, Jimmy Owens traveled to the Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) for the seventh-annual Gateway Dirt Nationals on Thursday afternoon to compete in both the Super Late Model and Modified divisions.
Racing just the Modified on Thursday, Jimmy qualified 10th-fastest in his group before finishing third in his heat race. For the first preliminary feature of the weekend, Owens finished 12th after 20-laps.
