Koehler Motorsports Invades Fayetteville

Koehler Motorsports with drivers, Evan Koehler and Jordan Koehler, invaded Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway on Thursday night for the North Carolina Speedweek.

Thirty-three Mid East 602 Late Models entered the $1,000-to-win program, and Jordan qualified 19th fastest in his group before recording a fourth-place finish in his heat race. Starting 15th in the main event, Jordan initially rocketed to a fourth-place finish in the 20-lap feature. However, after the winner was disqualified in post-race inspection, he was promoted to a third-place finish behind Jamison McBride and Cody Overton.

Evan's luck wouldn't be as good. He qualified 24th fastest in time trials, and an eighth-place finish in his heat race relegated him to the B-Main, where his night ended with an 11th-place finish.

On Friday action continued with a $1,200-to-win Mid-East Late Model Series event. Jordan qualified 16th fastest in time trials to lock into the main event in the 16th-starting spot. He advanced to as high as the 13th spot in the 20-lap feature before retiring to a 19th-place finish.

Evan qualified 26th fastest, which mired him fourth on the starting grid for a B-Main. He finished fourth in the B-Main, and with only the Top-2 finishers moving onto the feature, his night ended early.

Saturday's finale fell victim to rain.
